With the massive success of UPI in India. Indian Government has decided to take the technology globally and provide the partnering country with the UPI mechanism for transactions over the internet.
There are a lot of countries that accept credit cards or have shown interest in introducing digital payments UPI in their country.

List Countries Accepting UPI Payments
The following is the list of countries accepting UPI Payments-
Nepal
Nepal is the first country who accepted the UPI system in their country. NPCI International Payments Ltd (NIPL) partnered with Gateway Payment Services, Manam Infotech to provide UPI services in Nepal.
Bhutan
Bhutan is another neighboring country where you can use UPI for payments. NIPL has partnered with the Royal Monetary Authority of Bhutan to deliver seamless digital service to the Bhutanese people as well as Indian citizens visiting Bhutan.
Singapore
Singapore is a South Asian country with very good relations with India both historically as well as monetarily. Singapore has authorized the Monetary Authority of Singapore, PayNow to partner which NIPL to provide UPI services in Singapore.
Malaysia
Malaysia is yet another South Asian country where you can use UPI. NIPL partnered with Merchantrade Asia to deliver UPI services in the country.
Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines, Vietnam, Cambodia, Hong Kong, Taiwan, South Korea, Japan
Liquid Group has a global presence and has partnered with various south Asian countries like Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines, Vietnam, Cambodia, Hong Kong, Taiwan, South Korea, and Japan to deliver UPI services to these countries.
UAE
United Arab Emirates is the first gulf country that has provided UPI services in their country. Anyone can use the UPI Global feature of the BHIM UPI app to use UPI app. In UAE, NIPL has partnered with Network International (NI) to offer UPI services.
France
France is the first European country to use UPI for digital payments in their country. NIPL has signed an MOU where the use of UPI was validated by France. NIPL and Lyra Group both signed the MOU and provided UPI services.
United Kingdom
United Kingdom will soon allow the use of UPI in their country. NIPL has partnered with Terrapay, and PayXpert to provide UPI services.
Netherlands, Belgium, Luxemburg, Switzerland
Netherlands, Belgium, Luxemburg, and Switzerland are also enabling UPI services in their country. NPCI International Payments Ltd (NIPL) partnered with Worldline to provide UPI services in these countries.
Oman
You can also use UPI in Oman where NPCI international Payments Ltd and Central Bank of Oman both agree to provide UPI services in their country.

You can use UPI payments in other countries by downloading the BHIM UPI app and logging into your account followed by enabling the UPI global feature. After enabling this feature, you’ll be able to use the UPI Payments internationally.
