The following is the step-by-step process for transferring the gas connection from one gas agency to another-
- Find the whereabouts of your nearest gas agency nearby your home location by googling it or asking your neighbors
- After finding out about the agency, collect all the documents mentioned below and visit the gas agency (make sure you have collected the Gas regulator to surrender it to the agency)
- After visiting the agency, submit the documents and make sure to carry your original copy of the documents along with the Xerox copy
- Now, write a letter to the new gas agency requesting a new gas connection by closing the existing one. Make sure to mention the customer number, present address, and the new gas agency’s address
- Now, visit the existing gas agency and submit the documents mentioned below, your request will be processed and a gas transfer voucher will be issued you’ll have to submit this voucher to the new gas agency upon which you require will be processed, and you’ll receive a further connection gas voucher along with a newly issued CA number which you can use for booking and using the gas connection
