How to Remove the Name from the Ration Card?
You have an option to remove the name from your ration card using both online and offline methods, which is as follows-
Online
- Visit the official website of the Food and Civil Supplies of the state you are living in
- Now, in the portal, you’ll find an option called “electronic point of sale” Click on that followed by clicking on the services tab
- After clicking on the services tab, you’ll find an option for removing or changing names option
- Click on the option and fill out the application form with details like name, reason for deletion, etc.
- After that, you’ll have to submit the necessary documents mentioned below followed by clicking on the submit button
- Your application form will be submitted successfully and you’ll be able to remove the name of the individual from your ration card
Offline
- Visit the nearest ration distribution center and ask for the name deletion form or you can also download it online from the official website
- Once in possession of the application, you’ll have to fill out the application form with details like name, reason for deletion, etc.
- You’ll also have to attach supporting documents and submit them to the ration distribution center
- After that, your ration card will be updated with the deletion of the member
