How to Open SBI Bank Account Online?
You can follow these steps to open SBI Bank Account online-
- Visit the official website of SBI and navigate to the savings bank account tab followed by clicking on the type of account you want to open
- After selecting the type of account, you’ll be redirected to the page where you’ll find detailed information about the account along with an Apply Now button which you have to click
- After clicking the button, a new window with a small application form will appear which you have fill with details like name, phone number, email ID, etc.
- An OTP will be sent on your registered mobile number as well as you email Id which you’ll have to confirm
- After confirmation of the OTP has been completed, the application form filling process will continue
- Now, fill the PAN Card number in the form followed by providing other essential details like Aadhaar card number, etc. and clicking on the next button
- After clicking on the next button, you’ll have to provide your resident details and office details (if any)
- Now, provide your additional details like father, mother name, nominee details, marital status, etc.
- After providing these details, you’ll have to choose your nearest bank branch where your account can be opened
- After choosing your branch, you’ll have to agree to the terms and condition by ticking the checkbox
- Now, your account application process is completed, a PDF file will be automatically downloaded which is your account application form
- You’ll have to take a print out of the application form and attach the documents mentioned above
- After attaching the documents, you’ll have to visit the bank branch and submit the documents along with the documents and initial deposit amount
- Now, the bank representative will review your application and further forwards the process for account opening
- After processing of your account is completed, you’ll be notified about your account opening
- You’ll also receive SBI savings bank starter’s kit which contains debit card, chequebook, etc.
