- This account is only provided to the minor child below 18 years of age
- Children below the age of 10 years are required permission from their parents or guardians to open the account, also, the documents of them are also required to be submitted to the bank
- The ATM card for Minor account will only be issued to the minor account with more than 10 years of age

Currently, Indian Bank only offers the account opening for Minors via offline means. The following are the account opening process for a minor accounts in Indian banks-
- Visit your nearest Indian Bank branch and ask the bank representative for minor account opening form. Alternatively, you can also download and print the form online
- Now, fill the form with correct details and attach the documents mentioned below
- Submit the form and documents along with the initial deposit amount to the bank representative
- The bank representative will review your application and forwards the application for further verifications
- After successful verifications, your minor account will be opened and you’ll receive an SMS stating the successful account opening
- You’ll receive the Indian Bank starter’s kit via post on your registered address

- 3 coloured photographs of minor and parent
- Duly filled account opening form

Note- In the case of children below 10 years of age, the parent of the minor is required to present his/her above-mentioned documents as well.
